En el Seminario Internacional Intermedios 2011, en la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, durante la conferencia: Idéntico a la naturaleza, es decir: artificial el Dr. Peter Bexte se refirió al trabajo Cloaca del artista belga Win Delvoye. Según Bexte, este trabajo concluye la preocupación, ya vieja, sobre la producción artificial de lo natural.
